Create a Profile

To begin your roommate search, first sign in to your account and select Roommates from the main menu. Next, select Create Profile, complete each section of questions, and change your profile status to Active.

Only users with an active affiliate account may use the roommate section. For more information on creating a roommate profile, visit this article from the Help Center.

Search Filters

Once you have created and activated your profile, go to Roommates to begin your search. You will see a set of quick filters to help you refine your search on the right, as well as Advanced Search filters with more detailed preferences.

Favorites

Save a roommate to your Favorites list by selecting the star on their profile. To remove a profile, simply unselect the star.

Contacting Roommates

To reach out to a potential roommate, select an option from the right side of their profile or from the bottom of the screen for mobile devices:

Before sending a message, verify that your name, phone number, and move-in date are accurate, and add anything you'd like to share to the message field (50 character minimum). Keep in mind that you can only send one initial message, so be sure to include any information you'd like to share on the first send.

You can also contact them via text or by phone if they've opted to include their phone number.

Social Media

If someone has opted to include their social media handles on their profile, they will be displayed beneath their bio in mobile view (or in the top-right corner of their bio for desktop view):
